Working with me
My approach is straightforward and relaxed. We'll meet for a friendly coffee (or whatever you drink) before the session so I can get a sense of your personality and career direction, and then we'll shoot outdoors or indoors (or both) at the location we've agreed to. I'm a big fan of finding interesting spots around the city; it adds a sense of adventure and energy to the event -- and to the photography.
Headshots only
If you're pressed for time and just need to get a set of new headshots circulating in front of casting directors, we can focus on a tight, 30-minute, headshots-only shoot.
My fee for a headshot session is $375 + HST, which includes the shoot itself, shot selection, and editing. There are no restrictions on where you choose to print your high-res images.
All bookings require a $150 initial payment at the time of booking, payable via cash, Interac e-transfer, or PayPal.

Headshots + "Persona" portraiture
Today's actors need to go beyond industry-standard headshots for two reasons: first, because time-pressed casting directors often need help to "see" you in a given role, and second, because the growing importance of social media means that more creative and cinematic shots are required to build a persona in the minds of an actor's followers. With an hour's session, we can produce some great "persona" portraits, and can create a fresh set of headshots at the same time.
My fee for this session is $750 + HST, which includes the shoot itself, shot selection, and editing. There are no restrictions on where you choose to print your high-res images.
